Trooper was rescued with Redford in the Prim area. Though previously believed to be a Wolfdog, he is not. Our veterinarian believes him to be a husky breed. Trooper came to us severely underweight with a bad facial wound. The wound was so deep that anytime he ate, it would break open and blood would pour into his food bowl. Even though he was in obvious pain, Trooper never growled or showed aggression when he was being treated.

 

Trooper is doing much better; his facial wound has healed and he has gained much needed weight. He would be best in a farm or a well fenced home as he loves to run and is a bit of an escape artist. He has been inside without difficulty and was extremely well behaved.

 

Trooper was adopted by a forever family!
