Copper came to us with Church from Atkin's Pet Rescue originally as a foster. He had a severe case of mange, both demodectic and sarcoptic. Treatment was a long process to get him healthy.

 

He is currently in great shape with no signs of a relapse but is on Bravecto, which is a mange preventative. Copper loves to be with people and be constantly petted. He learns quickly and his very intelligent. He would be a great inside dog if provided with a kennel, as he is kennel trained. He would also need a fenced in yard for exercise. Copper is mouthy, but is gentle.

 

We do not believe him to be a wolfdog, but has the appearance of a Russian Laika.

Copper was adopted by a veteran and is now a therapy dog! He is spoiled rotten and deeply loved.
